With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Travis works with individuals, charitable foundations, and corporations to create customized investment and wealth management solutions based on their specific needs and objectives. Prior to joining the Allen Capital Group, Travis was a Sr. Wealth Advisor with a successful national advisory firm.
Travis has a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. Travis has obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Nebraska. Additionally, Travis is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and is also a member of the Financial Planners Association (FPA) of Nebraska.
Travis and his wife Cindy have two daughters, Morgan and Kennedy. Most free time is spent coaching and cheering for the girls at basketball and soccer games. The Portwoods reside in Bennington, NE.
