Kent Koch, CLTC
Kent was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska, where he and his wife and 3 daughters currently reside. Kent attended the University of Nebraska – Kearney, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Music. Upon graduating, Kent relocated to the Nashville, TN area. He also served in the Nebraska and Tennessee Air National Guard for six years during 2001-2007.
With a desire to establish roots and start their own family, Kent and his wife Kacey returned to Nebraska in 2007. A family friend (and Financial Advisor), encouraged Kent to pursue a financial services career, so he dove into our industry head first. Kent served clients for nearly 8 years working with Northwestern Mutual, prior to joining Allen Capital Group in 2015. He’s grateful for excellent professional training and personal habits he developed to provide superior client service and build strong relationships.
Kent is involved with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, serving as a board director with his local chapter. He also enjoys participating in our community with the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce. He and his family are members of Peace Lutheran Church, where Kent is active in the praise and worship music ministry. Life is exciting with 3 young daughters and he cherishes the time he spends with family and friends.
I love what I do and I’m deeply committed to the realization of my client’s financial goals. Clearly defining financial security, collaborating to build a comprehensive plan, and dedicated focus on controllable risks are key ingredients for long-term success. As a fiduciary, I believe there is no friction between what we do for our clients and what we do for ourselves when the work is done right.
